A beautiful Small Agate Geode bringing the natural Agate Laces (AKA as Blue Lace Agate or Blue Lace Agate), this geode is considered a Super Extra and unique due to the quality of the agate specimen, formation and spectacular Agate laces.
Nature amazingly formed the agate layers, where you can see the growth pattern it had during the millions years of evolution. The layers of this geode start on a blue sky color and develop lighter and deeper tones of blue layers till its center, where we can find the druzy, which is a chapter apart.
It is very important to highlight the fact that this Agate Geode brings its purest form and no treatment has been applied to them. It has been cut and polished to enhance its natural beauty.
Outstanding from every angle, this blue lace agate geode is sure to be an amazing addition to your crystal collection. Check out the photos to see more details and feel free to send us a message if you have any questions or specific requests. 🤍
You may be wondering, how were the blue lace layers formed? It's just amazing: agates normally form inside bubbles or cavities of igneous (volcanic) basalt and, over time, are filled with layers of water with high concentrations of silica. The water is slowly evaporated, forming a layer of silica gelatin and then a layer is formed. It is a very slow process and each layer contained different impurities, thus forming different colored bands. Fantastic, right?
