Description
This natural Amethyst Geode combines a tall cathedral shape with sparkling galaxy druzy, soft lavender crystal growth, and a beautifully defined lace agate matrix. At 19 lb (8.6 kg), it has a bold presence while remaining an easy size to display on a table, console, pedestal, or within a mineral collection.
The first feature to catch the eye is the fine Amethyst Galaxy Druzy covering much of the interior. Thousands of tiny reflective crystal faces create a bright, almost sugar-like sparkle, with colors ranging from lavender and soft purple to blue and gray, depending on the area and lighting.
The crystal formation becomes more sculptural toward the center, where rounded amethyst growths and small crystal pockets rise from the druzy surface. These formations add depth and give the interior a layered, three-dimensional appearance rather than a simple flat crystal bed.
Another beautiful feature is the lace agate matrix framing the cavity. Darker agate bands follow the natural outline of the geode, contrasting with the lighter quartz and amethyst inside and giving the specimen a clean, well-defined border.
The combination of fine galaxy druzy, lavender amethyst, layered crystal formations, and natural agate banding gives this geode a very distinctive appearance from both close up and across the room.
