Extremely Rare Baby Blue Botryoidal Chalcedony Butterfly Geode on Moss Agate Matrix
This exceptionally rare Baby Blue Chalcedony Butterfly Geode was discovered in the mines of Ametista do Sul, Brazil. Its pastel blue chalcedony formed over a natural agate and amethyst matrix, then was cut into mirrored wings that reveal the internal beauty of this formation.
The soft blue chalcedony developed over botryoidal nodules, creating smooth, rounded surfaces that appear fluid and serene. This coloration is extremely uncommon, likely caused by trace elements present during mineral deposition. Pieces showing this level of consistency and clarity are seldom found.
The matrix displays layered agate patterns, subtle inclusions, and delicate golden specks—likely goethite—adding texture and depth. Even more special, this formation developed over first-generation amethyst, clearly displaying its geological sequence: chalcedony over agate over amethyst.
This butterfly geode is 100% natural and ethically sourced from our hometown, Ametista do Sul, Brazil. A true collector specimen for fine mineral collections, gallery displays, or refined interiors.
