Agate and Amethyst Geode with World-Class Calcite Formations, filled with Golden Goethite Druzy
An Amethyst Geode with rare formations, this is a spectacular specimen that brings intact crystal calcite formations, amethyst crystals filled with the rare Golden Goethite, and a fabulous agate matrix that surrounds the entire geode. Definitely, a world-class example of a high-end, super extra quality Amethyst, which will look magnificent in your collection or decor.
The first and more prominent characteristics are the brilliant and deep purple amethyst crystals and the Crystal Calcite inclusions. The Amethyst has a dark purple color that mixes beautifully with the Golden Goethite needles that grow inside of it, creating a one-of-a-kind type of druzy that is associated with royalty, rarity, and spirituality.
Another quality of this geode is the Calcite Inclusions, which could be display specimens by themselves. The calcite is covered by small druzy that surround the entire length of the calcite swords, with the base bringing golden goethite that gives a goldish shine to them.
Last but not least, I'd like to highlight the lace agate matrix. The Two Toned Agate layers are very rare to be seen and showcase natural landscaped drawings.
Size-wise it stands a little bit more than 22 in. tall and weighs 53 lb. being the perfect mid-size geode. The matrix of the geode is composed of a thin layer of Basalt which was then covered by the Agate Matrix, and it had need to be reinforced.
This exceptional Amethyst geode brings the peace of mind of being Ethically sourced in our hometown Ametista do Sul, RS, Brazil. Please check the pictures to see more of it and feel free to message us in case you have any questions or particular requests. 🤍
