A Rare Amethyst Conglomerate of Minerals: Green and White Sugar Amethyst, Zeolite, Calcite, Hematite Inclusions
This natural White and Green Amethyst plate is a masterpiece crafted by nature, showcasing a rare combination of minerals, colors, and formations that create a one-of-a-kind specimen. Often referred to as “green amethyst” or a Zeolite plate, the geode in which this formed may be the only one in the world with such characteristics (we gladly own all the clusters of this geode), and it’s ready to take center stage in your collection.
I consider this specimen a time capsule of geological events, where each occurrence added a unique feature. The plate was originally just amethyst, and a possible earthquake caused mineral plates and pieces—such as amethyst quartz, calcite, and others—to fall. Over millions of years, this plate was bonded by the rare crystallization of tiny crystals known as Sugar Amethyst.
Because of its varied mineral formations, it displays rare colors not often seen in amethyst plates, especially when combined. Here, we find different hues of green, golden, white, and purple, derived from amethyst pieces that detached from the top of the geode.
In many ways, this unique Green Amethyst plate is a genuine treasure deserving a prominent place in your space—be it a collection or a shelf—making it a true focal point among rare geological finds.
