You may be wondering how the Blue Lace Layers were formed:
Agates develop within bubbles or cavities of igneous basalt (volcanic rock), gradually filling with layers of water containing high concentrations of Silica. As the water slowly evaporates, it leaves behind a gel-like Silica layer, which then solidifies to form an Agate layer. This intricate process takes a considerable amount of time, with each layer containing varying impurities, resulting in the formation of bands displaying different agate colors. It's truly mind-blowing, isn't it?
