Large Lemurian Clear Quartz Crystal Sphere with Multiple Internal Rainbows – Diamantina, Brazil
This beautiful sphere began as a large raw Lemurian quartz—broken, yet full of potential. After nearly a month of careful work, it was transformed into a refined crystal sphere rich with natural rainbows and exceptional clarity.
The sphere shows a high level of transparency, interrupted only by natural internal structures that create multiple internal rainbows as light moves across the crystal. These formations create delicate, organic patterns, giving the sphere depth, character, and the visual qualities so sought after in Diamantina quartz.
The quartz was hand-cut and meticulously polished by an experienced lapidary in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais. The final polish was completed using cerium oxide—the same compound used in fine gemstone cutting—resulting in a smooth, mirror-like surface while preserving the stone’s natural integrity.
