This specimen represents the highest quality of clear quartz found in Diamantina, Brazil—a region known worldwide for producing exceptionally transparent crystals. It was carefully cut and polished to preserve the crystal’s natural integrity, an essential value in every piece we offer at E2D Crystals.
The obelisk was cut to create a balanced and elegant geometry. The lapidary work is clean and precise, and the final polishing was completed using cerium oxide, resulting in a smooth, refined surface while maintaining the crystal’s natural character.
Found in Diamantina—once a center of diamond mining in the 18th and 19th centuries and now renowned for its super-clear quartz—this piece stands as a natural artwork shaped by both geology and skilled craftsmanship.
