Small World-Class Agate Geode with Blue and White Agate Layers and Galaxy Druzy
Agates are quite common minerals worldwide, but this geode is anything but ordinary. With world-class characteristics—such as bold, intact laces, an aesthetic formation, and a rarely seen golden galaxy druzy—this small geode will add natural beauty to any space. Whether placed on a shelf, table, crystal display, or as a centerpiece in your collection, it's sure to catch the eye of even the most discerning collectors.
Nature beautifully formed the agate layers, allowing you to see the growth patterns developed over millions of years. It all starts with a translucent agate base, which gives way to intense blue laces that create a complex yet beautiful design.
At the center, you'll find the rare golden galaxy druzy, intricately filled with tiny golden goethite needles that sparkle and glimmer in the light.
It is very important to highlight that this Agate Geode brings its purest form and no treatment has been applied to it. Check out the photos to see more details and feel free to send us a message if you have any questions or specific requests. 🤍
You may be wondering how the blue lace layers formed:
It's just amazing: agates normally form inside bubbles or cavities of igneous (volcanic) basalt and, over time, are filled with layers of water with high concentrations of silica. The water slowly evaporates, forming a layer of silica gelatin, and then a layer is formed. It is a very slow process and each layer contains different impurities, thus forming different colored bands. Fantastic, right?
