Natural Citrine Crystal Point – Unheated Honey-Gold Collector Specimen
Description
A beautiful and very special Natural Citrine Point, this specimen combines a warm Honey-Gold color with excellent transparency, beautiful internal formations, and natural rainbows that become visible as the crystal catches the light.
One of the most important qualities of this piece is that the color is completely natural. This is genuine Natural Citrine, not heated Amethyst, with its golden tone formed naturally inside the quartz. The color ranges from a lighter golden yellow to a richer Honey-Gold depending on the thickness of the crystal and the angle of the light.
The transparency is another highlight. Much of the interior can be seen clearly, revealing natural veils, growth features, and internal formations that give the crystal depth without taking away from its clarity. Some of these internal features also create beautiful rainbow reflections.
To make the most of the original material, the crystal was carefully cut and polished, with the main faces finished using cerium oxide, and we decided to keep a small natural detail on the tip of the crystal. The result is a clean, highly reflective surface that allows the natural color and internal details to be appreciated from different angles.
Another important quality is the size. At over two pounds, this is a substantial Natural Citrine Crystal Point with enough volume for the golden color and internal details to be appreciated from across the room as well as up close.
Natural, unheated Citrine of this size, color, and transparency is much less commonly encountered than heat-treated material, making this a particularly interesting piece for a mineral collection or refined interior.
