The color is the first thing that makes this specimen special. Its druzy ranges from rich golden orange to a much deeper Madeira tone, with darker areas that resemble amber glowing under the light. The saturation is strong throughout the cavity, while the lighter golden sections create beautiful contrast and keep the surface from looking flat.
The crystal quality is equally impressive. The geode is covered with dense, well-formed Citrine crystal points, many of them showing broad reflective faces that create bright flashes across the entire surface. Most of the visible crystals remain beautifully intact, and the natural variation in size and direction gives the druzy much more depth than a simple uniform crystal bed.
Its cathedral shape is another rare feature of this geode. Tall and narrow, it has a very elegant profile, while the quartz border naturally frames the orange center almost like a piece of artwork. The light-colored matrix creates a strong contrast around the citrine and makes the color appear even richer.
The base has been reinforced to safely support the weight and preserve the geode for display, while keeping the natural formation as the main focus.
