Rare Intact Moss and Lace Agate Slice with Crystallized Center, On Display
Delicate, aesthetic, and intact, this agate slice deserves a spot in any gallery or collection. It’s a Soledade agate that brings together a rare combination of laces, crystal quartz, and moss agate drawings—creating a natural artwork that makes us reflect on how nature composes what we call beauty.
What stands out first in this agate specimen is its unique composition. Moss agate is rarely found in Brazilian agates, especially in intact geodes like this one. The colors developed naturally, with earthy greens and whites marking the first stage of the geode’s growth.
After the moss agate, the laces took shape—earth-toned bands alternating with blue and white, making room for the crystal to grow. And then, rarity struck again: a chalcedony layer formed right at the center, topped with tiny druzy that adds a subtle sparkle to the piece.
This thin slice of agate has a translucent characteristic, and with backlight the color perspective of the agate changes, and a blossoming golden color shows up. A perfect display specimen to add nearby a window so you can see the color changes during a sunny day.
With no cracks and no treatment at all, the agate is of super-extra grade.
Outstanding from both sides, this earth and blue lace agate slice surely is an amazing addition to your crystal collection. Check out the photos and feel free to send us a message if you have any questions or specific requests. 🤍
