Statement Citrine Cathedral with Intact, Large Stalactite
Sculptural at first sight, this monumental Citrine Cathedral Geode gives the impression that an architect designed it—complete with columns of stalactites, curving forms, and the perfect cathedral shape. In an X-Large size, this specimen was carefully cut to preserve its natural architecture while highlighting the dense coverage of small, sparkly deep-orange Citrine druzy across the entire interior.
Inside the geode, large and prominent stalactite flower formations stand out immediately. These developed during an early stage of growth, when chalcedony formed soon after the cavity opened, later followed by the intense citrine druzy covering. This layered development offers a clear window into the geological history of the specimen.
Another defining highlight is the consistent deep orange Citrine color from top to bottom, giving the piece a warm and powerful presence. Both the druzy points and stalactites are fully intact and exceptionally clean, creating a gemstone-like sparkle as they reflect the light.
Large citrine geodes of this scale and quality are extremely rare. Finding a piece that combines cathedral size, intact stalactites, sparkly druzy, and strong color requires a very specific set of geological conditions—making this truly a one-of-a-kind natural masterpiece.
