High-Grade Clear Quartz Crystal Sphere with Multiple Internal Rainbows – Diamantina, Brazil
This is a high-grade clear quartz crystal sphere, carved from exceptional natural quartz sourced in Diamantina, Brazil—a region once known for diamond mining and now celebrated for producing some of the clearest quartz in the world.
The sphere shows outstanding transparency, with natural internal structures that create multiple internal rainbows when illuminated. These formations create delicate, organic patterns inside the quartz, giving the sphere visual depth and character that collectors especially value in Diamantina quartz.
It was hand-cut and polished by an experienced lapidary in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais. The final polish was completed using cerium oxide—the same compound used in fine gemstone cutting—resulting in a smooth, mirror-like surface while preserving the crystal’s natural integrity.
Because of its clarity and reflective qualities, photographing the sphere accurately can be challenging. Please review the pictures closely, and feel free to message us with any questions or specific requests.
