This stunning Amethyst Geode with Yellow Needle Calcite brings strong aesthetics, contrast, and personality. The deep purple amethyst druzy forms the base for dozens of elongated yellow calcite crystals that grow in all directions, creating a formation that feels sculptural and full of life.

The calcite is the highlight of this specimen. These tall, slender crystals — some showing hexagonal terminations — rise from the geode like golden wands. Their warm yellow tone contrasts beautifully with the purple amethyst, and many display natural internal zoning and soft translucency, glowing gently when illuminated.

The polished agate shell adds another layer of beauty, with natural patterns of blue, gray, green, and soft white. The custom-made stand allows the entire formation to be admired from every angle.

Because needle calcites are extremely delicate, a couple of crystals were professionally re-glued during preparation — a very common and accepted practice for this formation, without affecting stability or aesthetics.
