Amethyst Cluster with Rare, Intact Smoky Calcite
Aesthetic and instantly recognizable, this Brazilian Amethyst cluster features a rare smoky calcite formation reminiscent of a dramatic mountain peak—tall, angular, and tiered. It’s an exceptional addition to your desk décor, altar, or crystal collection, and also makes a memorable gift for someone special.
The calcite is the first thing that draws attention. Its formation creates a striking contrast against the rich purple amethyst druzy. It developed through two generations of growth: the first generation formed a crystallized calcite structure, while the second produced smoky calcite crystals with pointy, shiny tips.
Another highlight is the amethyst druzy in this cluster, which features a rich, intense color and remarkable translucency. Small golden goethite inclusions within the amethyst create visible phantoms, further adding to its rarity.
All of this comes with the peace of mind that it was ethically sourced in my hometown, Ametista do Sul, Brazil. Please check the pictures for more details, and feel free to message us with any questions or special requests. 🤍
