This is a very special natural Quartz Crystal Sphere, displaying AAA-grade quality and an exceptional level of clarity. The raw quartz comes from Diamantina, Brazil—a historic region once famous for diamond mining in the 18th and 19th centuries and now renowned for producing some of the finest clear quartz in the world.
Its remarkable internal transparency is interrupted only by a few subtle natural features, where small natural rainbows appear within the quartz. These colorful flashes add character and depth to the sphere while preserving its exceptionally clean, water-clear appearance.
The large quartz crystal used to create this sphere was expertly hand-cut and polished by an experienced lapidary artisan in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais. Finished with cerium oxide, a professional polishing compound used in fine gemstone work, the sphere has a smooth, mirror-like surface that enhances its transparency and brilliance.
