Starting from a compact piece of exceptionally clear quartz, our artisan shaped and polished multiple geometric faces to create this elegant flame sculpture. Despite its smaller size, the combination of optical clarity, sharp facets, and clean proportions gives the piece a strong visual presence, allowing light to travel through the crystal and reveal its depth from every angle.
The quartz was sourced from Diamantina, Brazil, a region known for producing high-clarity clear quartz. This specimen was selected as AAA-grade for its water-clear transparency, colorless body, minimal cloudiness, and remarkably clean interior. Only subtle natural crystal markings remain, preserving its character without taking away from its optical quality.
With decades of lapidary experience, the artisan carefully faceted each surface to enhance the quartz rather than hide it. The polished faces meet in crisp, angular lines, creating a layered optical effect and the appearance of a flame rising naturally through the crystal.
