The color is one of the strongest qualities of the piece. The amethyst displays the highly sought-after Grape Jelly tone, with deep violet to purple crystals that become especially vivid under the light. The larger points around the cavity show excellent translucency, while the deeper sections carry a darker saturation that gives the specimen strong contrast and depth.
The crystal growth is equally impressive. Larger, well-formed amethyst points develop in different directions throughout the interior, and this variation in crystal growth gives the geode a much more three-dimensional appearance, making the cavity especially interesting to explore.
With its triangular shape, the geode has a naturally sculptural quality, while the polished edges reveal the transition between the amethyst, quartz, agate, and surrounding matrix.
This is a one-of-a-kind Brazilian Amethyst Geode combining AAA crystal quality, rich Grape Jelly purple color, unusual form, and excellent display presence. The reverse side is all-natural and has been polished, exposing beautiful natural agate and mineral patterns that would normally remain hidden.
