Two prominent quartz crystals dominate the composition, each displaying a distinct green chlorite phantom that immediately draws the eye and makes this cluster unlike any other.

This cabinet specimen showcases a beautifully defined scenic chlorite phantom, where successive growth stages created layered green landscapes suspended within the crystal. Beside it, a second crystal displays a concentric phantom pattern. These phantoms formed when crystal growth paused, allowing fine chlorite minerals to settle on the crystal surface before quartz growth resumed, preserving each stage of its geological history.

The surrounding crystals are highly transparent and beautifully terminated, with several displaying well-developed Lemurian striations along their faces. Together with subtle lodolite inclusions scattered throughout the cluster, these features give the specimen remarkable visual depth while preserving the clean, optical appearance for which Diamantina quartz is admired.
