A superb AAA-grade Brazilian Amethyst Cathedral, this large collector specimen combines a tall, elegant shape with rich Royal Purple color, large gemmy crystal points, and a beautifully polished agate back that makes the piece impressive from every angle.

The color is one of the strongest qualities of the geode. The interior displays deep, saturated Royal Purple to violet tones, with the darker crystals concentrated toward the center of the cavity and brighter violet reflections appearing along the edges under the light. The natural quartz and agate border creates a clean contrast around the purple center, emphasizing the tall cathedral shape and framing the crystal cavity beautifully.

The crystal quality is equally impressive. Large, well-formed amethyst points cover the interior, with reflective faces that create bright flashes across the cavity. The variation in crystal size and orientation gives the geode excellent depth and makes the interior feel much more three-dimensional.

Another important feature is the polished agate back. Rather than leaving the reverse side unfinished, it has been carefully polished to reveal the natural agate banding and mineral patterns of the geode, giving the specimen a refined finish and making it attractive even when viewed from behind.
