Rare Agate Geode with Snowball Botryoidal Quartz & Sparkling Druzy
▫️ Description
Exceptionally rare, this natural Agate Geode is defined by its dense snowball-like botryoidal quartz formations, all covered by a fine sparkling druzy layer that gives the interior a soft, frosted appearance. Geodes like this are genuinely hard to find—many miners spend a lifetime without seeing an intact specimen with this level of detail.
Rather than forming a traditional flat crystal bed, the quartz developed in hundreds of rounded botryoidal aggregates across the cavity. These formations resemble tiny snowballs or clustered clouds, creating a highly three-dimensional surface with an almost organic texture.
Each rounded formation is coated in very fine small, perfectly formed druzy crystals that catch the light beautifully, producing a bright sparkle across the interior. The contrast between the pale quartz formations, darker areas beneath the druzy, and the surrounding agate gives the geode even more depth and character.
Another beautiful detail is the natural agate framing around the cavity, which clearly shows the layered structure of the geode and highlights the unusual botryoidal growth inside.
This exceptional specimen comes straight from the source—my hometown, Ametista do Sul, Brazil. Please check the pictures and video for a closer look, and feel free to message us with any questions or special requests. 🤍
