Pair of Large Citrine Geodes with Deep Orange Druzy and Rare Twin-Tower Formation
A pair of Citrine Geodes featuring one of the rarest formations of all: the twin-tower structure known in Brazil as “macaquinho,” where a smaller geode naturally holds onto the main one. Balanced, sculptural, and visually striking, this pair serves equally well as a collector-grade mineral specimen or as a focal installation for a hotel lobby, gallery, or refined interior space.
The formation is the defining highlight. Each geode rises vertically with a secondary chamber branching from the main body. This forked growth occurs when a smaller gas bubble partially connects to a larger one during formation, creating the distinctive twin-tower structure. The result is a natural sculpture with depth, movement, and strong geological character.
Both specimens are fully lined with sparkly, high-grade deep orange citrine druzy. The crystals display an intense, evenly distributed tone across the interior surfaces. A contrasting border of white quartz and agate frames the druzy, forming layered, fiery patterns along the edges.
Weighing just over 250 pounds combined, this pair is a monumental mineral artwork shaped entirely by natural processes. Ethically sourced, it offers both visual impact and geological integrity. Please review the photos for additional details, and feel free to reach out with any questions or specific requests.
