Set on a custom-made metal stand, it has a strong vertical presence that works beautifully in a mineral collection or as a focal point in an interior.
The crystal displays its best clarity through the upper and central sections, where light travels through the polished faces and reveals depth within the quartz. Natural veils, fine fractures, and cloudy areas become more noticeable toward the lower section, creating texture and occasional rainbow reflections without taking away from the overall transparency of the specimen.
Sourced from Diamantina—an area historically known for diamond mining and now recognized for producing high-quality Brazilian clear quartz—this piece preserves the natural internal character of the original crystal while presenting it in a refined display format.
The point was carefully cut and polished to reveal the interior and create a clean, well-defined termination. Its broad faces reflect light from different angles, while the contrast between the clearer upper section and the more textured base gives the crystal a layered, three-dimensional appearance.
The custom metal stand was made specifically for this specimen, elevating it securely and allowing its shape, polished faces, and internal features to remain fully visible.
