As we say in Brazil, “Fora de Série” — something truly exceptional, outside the ordinary, and impossible to replicate. That expression perfectly describes this Citrine Cathedral: a natural masterpiece and the kind of specimen that may only appear once in a lifetime. It was ethically sourced directly from our hometown, Ametista do Sul, Brazil.

The color and crystal quality are among the main highlights. The citrine displays an intense deep-orange tone, one of the most sought-after colors in high-grade citrine. The druzy is dense, bright, and highly reflective, with clean crystal faces that make the entire interior sparkle like glowing embers under the light.

The crystal growth is also unusually varied. Some areas form flower-like clusters and rosettes, while others flow across the cavity in dense, river-like bands of sparkling citrine druzy. This combination gives the geode a very sculptural, organic appearance and makes every section visually different.

The cathedral formation is another major highlight. Standing over 23 inches tall and weighing approximately 52 lb (23kg), the geode has a tall, elegant silhouette with a relatively thin agate matrix framing the crystal interior. This natural border works almost like a frame around a piece of art, allowing the vivid citrine to remain the main focus. Because of the thin matrix, the geode was carefully reinforced for stability and safe display.

With its intense color, dense sparkling druzy, rare calcite formation, artistic crystal growth, and impressive cathedral shape, this is unquestionably an AAA-grade specimen, also known in Brazil as Super Extra quality.
