A rare specimen combining exceptional aesthetics with a one-of-a-kind formation, this Madeira Citrine cluster is distinguished by its rich orange crystal points, multiple stalactitic quartz formations, and contrasting calcite and quartz overgrowths. Its combination of color, mineral association, and layered growth gives the piece a highly sculptural appearance, making it especially appealing for a serious quartz or mineral collection, as well as a striking focal point in any décor.

The citrine displays a saturated Madeira-orange tone, ranging from amber and cognac to deeper orange across the larger points. Their clean, naturally reflective faces create a strong luster under the light, while the variation in crystal size adds depth and movement throughout the cluster.

The most unusual feature is the group of prominent stalactitic formations rising from the druzy bed. These structures were later partially covered by calcite and micro-druzy, creating contrasting caps over the orange quartz. The calcite developed in blocky, layered growths that preserve the outline of the underlying stalactites while giving each formation its own distinct shape.

A later generation of fine micro-druzy appears across portions of the calcite. Thousands of tiny reflective points fill the spaces between the larger white crystals, creating a sparkling, galaxy-like surface. This combination reveals several stages of mineral formation within a single specimen: the original stalactitic quartz growth, the later calcite overgrowth, and the final micro-crystalline coating.

The composition is especially strong from the front and upper angles, where the calcite-covered formations rise above the Madeira citrine like a group of natural mineral towers.
