We are really glad to bring this world class amethyst specimen to Etsy, as it is one of the most spectacular forms of Amethyst ever seen by us. It is a Amethyst plate which brings many rare forms of growth into it and we called "The Snowy Mountain" because of the format of the inclusions it has.
A very rare form of Amethyst, this rosette is filled with small geometric calcite, Quartz Pseudomorphs after Anhydrite of pink color tone and the creme de la creme is the "mountain", which has this never seen before form of quartz and calcite growth, resembling a snowy mountain peak. Just phenomenal!
The multi-layered growth is another beautiful characteristic of it. The layers are distinguished from one of the other, sometimes they are separated by druzy, other times the layers just change colors as it goes. This is the result of many many years + the perfect environment for it to grow that way, where every little part of it was affected by a different mineral, that way making this multi-layered growth show us the different colors and growing patterns.
I tried my best to describe this beauty as it is, and it is important to highlight that this Rosette is intact, showing us the natural form as it was found at the mine.
